Sharyn Laing

Sharyn chairs the Board of OneDay Health, and brings decades of sales, marketing and leadership experience in the healthcare industry to the role. With qualifications in science and public health, and a passion for ensuring healthcare accessibility for all, Sharyn provides  strategic guidance and fiscal oversight to the operations of OneDay Health.

Lyndon brings his skills as a lawyer and his passion for social justice to the Board of OneDay Health.

Pranav Sridhar

Pranav is a co-founder of OneDay Health and a Board member. He is a social entrepreneur who has worked for multiple organisations that support social enterprises. He became passionate about healthcare after encountering healthcare black holes in his home country of India. He holds a master’s degree in management studies from the Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in North Carolina. Pranav and Nick met at Unleash in Denmark where they developed a strategy for scaling the OneDay Health model. Pranav's expertise in measuring the impact of social enterprises is invaluable to the governance of OneDay Health.

Samir Lakhani

Samir Lakhani is the Founder and Executive Director of Eco-Soap Bank, an organization employing women worldwide to recycle leftover soap scrap for children in need. He is a social entrepreneur dedicated to restoring health and dignity in developing countries. Samir received a CNN Heroes Award, Forbes 30 under 30 award, Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Award, Rotary Presidential Peacebuilding Award, One Young World Ambassador Award, Duke-UNICEF Innovation Awardee, amongst others. He also recently gave a TEDx Talk. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and currently lives in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Kristen Lee

Dr. Kristen lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where she works as an Internal Medicine physician. She dreams of living full time in Uganda and is passionate about healthcare access in developing nations. She enjoys providing her expertise to OneDay Health on the ground in Gulu and in her role as Chairperson of the the OneDay Health USA based Advisory Board.

Dr. Rebecca Lyman

Dr. Rebecca provides valuable oncall telemedical oversight to nurses with queries about difiicult diagnosis and treatment of patients in remote OneDay Health clinics. She has also travelled to Uganda and provided on the ground training for the OneDay Health nursing team.

Dr. Bob Peterson

Dr. Bob is an experienced medical practitioner and provides valuable oncall telemedical oversight to nurses with queries about difficult diagnosis and treatment of patients in remote OneDay Health clinics. Dr. Bob has degrees in science, medicine and public health and has completed an OB-GYN Residency at UNC-AHEC Wilmington NC. His medical knowledege and sage advice are key to the success of the OneDay Health guidelines diagnostic tool. His leadership experience as Founder and Medical Director of the Crescent PPO in Asheville NC, and as Founder and Director of the Health Advocacy Ministry 2016 mean he us uniquely qualified to provide effective governance to OneDay Health and its mission.
